The seller typically appoints the transferring attorney, though this can be negotiated in the OTP.

Who pays transfer costs?

The buyer pays transfer duty, conveyancing fees and bond registration. The seller pays bond cancellation and compliance certificates.

Can transfer be expedited?

In some cases, yes — but all suspensive conditions must be met and documents complete.
